coffee Roasting

I Got interested in Coffee roasting about 15 years ago. I started on a popcorn popper but quickly moved to a legit home roaster called a Gene Cafe. I used that for 15 years until recently I decided to upgrade to a Aillio Bullet roaster which is like upgrading from a Barbie Bakes oven to a real home oven. I’ve been scouring the internet for helpful information on coffee roasting and if I’ve learned one thing its that there is no one thing! So many different approaches and every Machine is different and every Bean is different. That said I did enjoy coffeemind institue with Morten Monchou and incredibly helpful was Nicki Amouri who gave two talks you can find for free with the Roast magazine, findable on youtube:

Soo Helpful. If you like specialty coffee and you happen by me in Spanish Village, please talk to me about it. I’m a total Geek.

Anyway, I pasted the above C to F conversion because I like learning from people all around the world and wanted an easy way to understand temps fast. Hope its helpful to a few people :)
